How to Book a Cargo Shipment

  1. Choose the type of cargo service you need (e.g., domestic or regional).

  2. Provide details about your shipment, including the weight, dimensions, and type of goods.

  3. Select your preferred shipment date and destination as well as flight number.

Cargo Rates

General Cargo:

Domestic: NAD 350 for 0 – 5kg, with an additional NAD 35/kg. 

Regional: NAD 500 for 0 – 5kg, with an additional NAD 50/kg.

 

Set Boxes:

5kg Box: NAD 300 per box (1 box), NAD 270 per box (2 – 10 boxes), NAD 250 per box (>10 boxes). 

10kg Box: NAD 450 per box (1 box), NAD 405 per box (2 – 10 boxes), NAD 375 per box (>10 boxes).

Domestic:
Ondangwa: NAD 7 580
Lüderitz: NAD 7 580
Oranjemund: NAD 7 580
Katima Mulilo: NAD 15 950

Regional:
Victoria Falls: NAD 24 000
Maun: NAD 24 000

Live Animals:
Domestic:
0-5kg: NAD 950
Additional Kg: NAD 100 per kg

Regional:

Additional Kg: NAD 500 per kg

Confirm your booking confirmation with the cargo department and make the necessary payment. You will receive a booking confirmation with tracking details.

How to Prepare Your Cargo for Shipment

  1. Package your goods securely to prevent damage during transit.

  2. Label your shipment clearly with the sender’s and recipient’s addresses.

  3. Ensure all required documentation (e.g., customs forms, invoices) is complete and attached.

  4. For fragile or perishable items, use appropriate packaging materials to protect the contents.

Set Boxes:

Choose between 5kg or 10kg boxes at the rates provided:

5kg Box: NAD 300 per box (1 box), NAD 270 per box (2 – 10 boxes), NAD 250 per box (>10 boxes).

10kg Box: NAD 450 per box (1 box), NAD 405 per box (2 – 10 boxes), NAD 375 per box (>10 boxes).

Drop off your cargo at the nearest FlyNamibia Cargo office or arrange for a pickup service. Keep the receipt and tracking number for future reference.

How to Handle Flight Delays or Cancellations:

We understand that flight delays or cancellations can be frustrating, and we want to ensure your cargo is handled smoothly. Here’s what you need to know:

 

If Your Flight is Delayed:


Cargo Already on Board: We will work with the airline to have your cargo transferred to the next available flight. We’ll keep you updated on the new estimated arrival time and any changes.

Cargo Not Yet Dispatched: If your cargo has not been sent yet, we will contact you to discuss the next steps. This may involve rescheduling the dispatch or arranging for temporary storage if necessary.

 

If Your Flight is Cancelled:

Cargo Already on Board: We will coordinate with the airline to either reroute your cargo on the next available flight or explore other options. We’ll keep you informed throughout the process.

Cargo Not Yet Dispatched: We will reach out to you to determine the best course of action, which may include arranging for the cargo to be picked up from the airport or rescheduling its dispatch.

 

Documentation and Communication:

Keep all relevant documentation, such as cargo receipts and tracking numbers, handy.
We will provide timely updates and work closely with you to ensure all necessary arrangements are made.

How to Handle Complaints with FlyNamibia Cargo

If you encounter any issues with your cargo shipment, contact FlyNamibia Cargo’s customer service as soon as possible: customercare@flynamibia.com.na

Provide your tracking number, booking details, and a clear description of the issue. Our customer service team will acknowledge your complaint and begin the investigation process.

For damaged cargo, document the damage with photos and provide any relevant details (e.g., how the cargo was packaged).

Submit any required forms or documentation as requested by the customer service team.

FlyNamibia Cargo will provide updates on the status of your complaint and work towards a resolution.

Once the investigation is complete, you will be informed of the outcome and any applicable compensation or corrective action.

How to Schedule Regular Cargo Services

  1. Contact FlyNamibia Cargo to discuss your ongoing shipping needs.

  2. Provide details about the frequency, volume, and destinations for your regular shipments.

  3. Our team will help you create a customized schedule and pricing plan that fits your business requirements.

  4. Review and agree to the terms and conditions of the scheduled service.

  5. Arrange for your shipments to be picked up or dropped off according to the agreed schedule.

  6. Track and manage your shipments through our online portal or by contacting customer service.

  7. For any changes to the schedule, notify FlyNamibia Cargo in advance to ensure seamless service.
