General cargo includes everyday items and materials transported by air with an airwaybill. Whether you’re shipping fashion items, mining equipment, couriers, entertainment instruments, hospitality goods, sports equipment, pharmaceuticals, or household goods, you can rely on FlyNamibia Cargo for dedicated service. We provide comprehensive air cargo solutions with exceptional on-time performance. Trust FlyNamibia Cargo as your reliable partner in air transportation.
At FlyNamibia Cargo, the comfort and safety of your pets are our top priority. Our trained team ensures careful handling during transport. Pets should have adequate space, including a water bowl and bedding, and must be able to stand and turn comfortably in their crate. Animals over 3 months old must be vaccinated against rabies, with specific waiting periods based on age. Ensure at least one IATA “Live Animals” label is attached to each container, and “This Way Up” labels are visible on all sides. For snub-nosed breeds, additional ventilation is required. Book your pet’s flight 24 hours in advance for domestic and 48 hours for international flights. Check-in should be completed 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to the flight.
Perishable cargo includes items that can deteriorate due to extreme temperatures, humidity, or other conditions. This category covers fresh flowers, frozen products, plants, food items, fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, and dairy products. FlyNamibia Cargo follows IATA regulations to maintain product freshness, using state-of-the-art temperature-controlled facilities. For optimal preservation, we recommend durable packaging and temperature regulation methods such as ice packs, gel packs, and dry ice (which is classified as dangerous goods and requires specialized packing).
Handling the remains of a loved one with care and sensitivity is a priority for FlyNamibia Cargo. We assist with the transport arrangements for remains, whether in an urn or coffin, ensuring compliance with IATA standards. Required documentation includes:
Certified copy of deceased ID
Burial removal letter
Doctor/medical letter stating cause of death
Death certificate
